Orek Return, Refund & Warranty Policy

We offer a 30-Day Return Policy from the date of delivery. Approved refunds are initiated within 3–5 business days of approval and credited to your original payment method within 24–72 hours after initiation.

1. Return Eligibility

A return request will only be approved if all of the following conditions are met:

  • ✓ Product is unused, unworn, and in original condition.
  • ✓ Original packaging, jewellery box, pouch, tags, and accessories are included.
  • ✓ Proof of purchase is provided.
  • ✓ Product successfully passes quality inspection after reaching our facility.
  • ✓ Return request is raised within 30 days of delivery.

Returns Will Not Be Accepted If

  • ✗ Product has been worn or used.
  • ✗ Product shows scratches, dents, damage, or signs of wear.
  • ✗ Original packaging is missing.
  • ✗ Product has been altered, repaired, or modified.
  • ✗ Product was damaged due to misuse, mishandling, or negligence.
  • ✗ Product received does not match the item originally shipped by Orek.
  • ✗ False, misleading, or fraudulent claims are identified.

2. Damage, Missing Item & Packaging Claims

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or with a packaging issue, notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

For claims related to:

  • Missing items
  • Damaged items
  • Packaging issues
  • Fulfillment discrepancies

Customers must provide a complete unboxing video clearly showing:

  • Sealed package
  • Shipping label
  • Opening process
  • Product received

Claims submitted without sufficient evidence may not be approved.

3. Refund Policy

Once a return request is approved and the product successfully passes inspection, the refund process begins.

Refund Processing Timeline

  • ✓ Refund will be initiated by Orek within 3–5 days of approval. Exchange/replacement deliveries will be completed within 5–7 business days.
  • ✓ Refund amount is generally credited to the original payment method within 24–72 hours after initiation.
  • ✓ Actual credit timelines may vary depending on the customer's bank, UPI provider, card issuer, or payment gateway.

Refund Method

  • Refunds will only be processed to the original payment method used during purchase.
  • Refunds cannot be transferred to another bank account, third-party account, wallet, or payment method.

Failed Transactions

  • If payment is deducted but an order is not successfully created, the amount is generally reversed automatically by the payment provider.
  • Customers may contact support if the amount is not reflected within the expected timeframe.

4. Order Cancellation Policy

  • Orders may be cancelled before dispatch.
  • Once an order has been shipped, cancellation requests may not be possible and the order will be governed by this Return Policy.
  • Orek reserves the right to cancel orders due to:
    • Product unavailability
    • Pricing errors
    • Payment verification issues
    • Suspected fraudulent activity
    • Operational limitations
  • If Orek cancels an order, a full refund will be processed.

5. 1-Year Quality Exchange Warranty

Every Orek jewellery purchase is protected by our 1-Year Quality Exchange Warranty from the date of delivery. This warranty covers manufacturing-related issues only — it is separate from, and does not extend, the 30-day return window above.

Covered Under Warranty

  • ✓ Abnormal plating fade under normal usage conditions.
  • ✓ Manufacturing defects.
  • ✓ Clasp or closure defects caused by manufacturing faults.
  • ✓ Stone setting defects caused by manufacturing faults.
  • ✓ Verified quality-related issues.

Not Covered Under Warranty

  • ✗ Physical damage.
  • ✗ Accidental breakage.
  • ✗ Product loss or theft.
  • ✗ Scratches from regular usage.
  • ✗ Damage caused by chemicals, misuse, or negligence.
  • ✗ Unauthorized repairs or modifications.
  • ✗ Normal wear and tear.

Warranty Resolution If a claim is approved, Orek may:

  • ✓ Replace the product.
  • ✓ Provide a similar replacement product.
  • ✓ Issue store credit equivalent to the product value.

Resolution method will be determined by Orek based on product availability and inspection results.

6. Lifetime Plating Support Program

Beyond the 1-Year Warranty period, customers can continue to access Orek's Lifetime Plating Support Program.

What It Includes Customers may send eligible products for professional replating services to help maintain the appearance of their jewellery.

Important Information

  • ✓ Lifetime Plating Support is not a lifetime replacement warranty.
  • ✓ Replating service charges may apply.
  • ✓ Shipping charges may apply.
  • ✓ Product eligibility is subject to inspection.
  • ✓ Service availability may vary depending on product design and condition.

8. Fraud Prevention & Verification

To maintain a safe shopping experience, Orek reserves the right to verify orders and claims. Orek may reject any return, refund, exchange, or warranty request if:

  • Fraudulent activity is suspected.
  • False information is provided.
  • Product inspection fails.
  • Evidence is insufficient.
  • Policy conditions are not met.
